Notice: The Seattle Foot and Ankle Clinic will be closing on March 17th. Therefore, Dr. Newell will be going on a sabbatical, but continuing his research on how the foot affects the back. Dr. Newell has been attending to the care of athletic feet in Seattle for over 3 and ½ decades. He pioneered the use of orthotics during the running boom of the 70s and has continued to benefit thousands of active individuals with his care throughout the years. His facility with athletic complaints made him a natural choice for the footcare needs of Seattle’s professional sports teams. Dr. Newell is proud to have been a part of the Sonics, Sounders, Seahawks and Mariners medical staff in the past thirty years. His expertise was also utilized by the University of Washington athletics department for 31 years as team podiatrist.
